Super Saravana Stores always has a good deal. This is why I shop there. I retired a few years ago and have cut back my spending since then. My wife suggested I can scrap my old dhotis and buy some new ones since this sale was on. I agreed and bought two for Rs. 285. I decided I won’t buy the silk dhoti this time since I already have two at home. Next time maybe. I wanted the cotton ones especially since it will be useful on our trip. Lungis were also on sale at Rs. 199 for two (again, Buy 1 get 1 free). I thought maybe for the Kodaikanal trip this will also be useful. So, I bought one set from that sale also. The fabric quality is good and the price is right so in these moments, it is better to buy and keep rather than shop later when we need and then the pricing won’t be comfortable. Having saved some money, I was feeling good. The salesman also told me about the Buy 1 Get 1 free offer on shirt bits – pricing was based on the type of fabric, ranging from Rs. 160 to Rs. 250. But my son recently bought me few readymade branded shirts so I didn’t feel like buying shirt material now.

I was particular about pure zari and my wife wanted only blue. They displayed only what we wanted and we had so many designs to choose from. Many modern and trendy looking sarees were available. My wife wanted something little traditional so she picked one with a green border and butta work. It was a beautiful sari and sure to last many years.
Both of us got more than what we wanted but at such incredible prices. Both of us were very happy and all set to go on our trip. My wife instantly called up our daughter-in-law to tell her all about the sale at Super Saravana Stores!
